A 4-part Sunday workshop series at TAG’s new Maplewood gallery.

Every creative journey runs on elemental energy: Fire for inspiration, Air for vision, Water for emotion, and Earth for real-world embodiment. Tarot—a masterwork of symbol and story—is built on these exact same forces.

Hosted in The Art Generator’s brand-new gallery space, this intimate series invites curious minds and creatives of all mediums and skill levels to tap into Tarot as a transformative tool for your process. Each week, we focus on a single element to help you overcome artistic roadblocks, refine your vision, and reconnect with your intuition.

Come as you are. No previous Tarot knowledge is required. Just bring an open mind (and a deck if you have one). Tarot resources will otherwise be provided for all participants.

4 Fall Sundays: September 27, October 4, October 11, & October 18

5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Investment: $120 (covers all 4 sessions)

You can expect to cultivate a deeper appreciation for Tarot, with an adaptable toolkit for your artistic life. You will walk away with archetypal prompts and an ability to locate where creative energy is gets stuck—because, let’s face it, sometimes it does! You’ll discover Tarot can be quite a practical tool to bring your visions to life.

FAQs

  • Not at all! This workshop is designed for complete beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. We focus on Tarot as a intuitive, creative mirror rather than a rigid system of memorization.

  • If you have a deck that you love or one that’s been sitting on your shelf waiting to be opened, please bring it along! If you don’t own a deck, don't worry—we will have decks available to borrow or work with during class.

  • We recommend attending all four dates to get the full elemental journey (Earth, Air, Fire, Water). However, if life happens and you miss a class, you will receive session recaps and exercise guides to help you stay connected with the material.

  • Bring a journal or notebook, a favorite pen, sketchbook etc., your Tarot deck (optional), and an open mind.

  • The series is hosted at The Art Generator’s (TAG) brand-new gallery in Maplewood, New Jersey. Detailed directions, parking options, and venue access details will be emailed to you upon registration.
